WHO MAKES MY TO DO LIST?
What should I be doing right now and what is driving me to do it? I just saw this clip of an interview of man (Sam Harris) who thinks that he has the answer to these questions. Watch the clip. What should you be doing? What motivates you to do what you should be doing? The article summarizes that we should “stop looking to religion to guide their moral compasses.” It is interesting that this man who is part of group that promotes what he terms as secularism makes an observation that, "There's no way to reconcile Islam with Christianity.” One of the other issues that he brings up is that there are bigger questions than…..what does God think of me and those of the afterlife. The gist of what he is saying is that the problems of this life are more important than what you think about God. What do you think? This is what our world is thinking about and talking about.
